Our company's vision statement is not just a bunch of words on paper. It's the core focus of how we conduct our business and our personal lives. We truly believe in giving back, paying it forward, and making the world a better place, one step at a time.

In addition to our regular donations to various charities, we have purchased a farm in Poplarville, Mississippi and have started The Erin Regan Animal Sanctuary and Rescue. By participating in our events, you help to give back to the amazing charities below as well as help us save animals through our own charitable organization. Donations Made in Conjunction with 100 Mile Challenge Mini-Challenges - $820

During our 100 Mile Challenges, we often do philanthropic mini-challenges to encourage our participants to help us make the world a better place one step at a time. They are encouraged to do good deeds as well as make donations to deserving organizations and important causes.  This list of donations made by Run Motivators during the mini-challenges is as follows:

Philanthropic Efforts Made in Conjunction with 100 Mile Challenge Mini-Challenges - Priceless

Doing good isn't always about giving money. Giving your time and efforts can be just as valuable, if not moreso. We try to do at least one mini-challenge with a philanthropic goal during each quarterly 100 Mile Challenge. These mini-challenges encourage participants to give their time and talents to those in need while somehow also incorporating a fitness aspect to it. So far our supportive community has done the following:

  • Plogged (picked up trash in our communities while walking and running outdoors)
  • Walked miles in honor of James "Fierce" Rung, a young boy with cancer. We encouraged members to also donate to his GoFundMe page.
  • Jog-a-Dog Challenge - Participants went to their local animal shelter and walked dogs to keep them socialized and make them more likely to be adopted.
  • Miles for Matt - We each completed the last miles of the London Marathon for Matt Campbell, who collapsed and died 3.7 miles from the finish line to show our support for his family and our solidarity with the running community in his honor. Donations to his fundraiser for Brathay Trust were encouraged.
  • Miles for Marquise' Weast - Participants were asked to dedciate their miles in memory of high school track star Marquise', daughter of one of our Shine Bright Like a Diamond 100 Mile Challenge participants. Participants were also encouraged to donate to the Marquise' Weast Memorial Scholarship Fund.
  • #stepitupforgood challenge - Completed during several challenges - Participants were asked to do at least one good deed that week that involved walking or running in some way and then share their experience on social media to encourage others to pay it forward. Some of the good deeds done were: walking dinner over to a neighbor's house, plogging, walking dogs at a local shelter, shoveling snow from a neighbor's driveway, and post-storm neighborhood debris clean up.
  • The Pink and Gold Challenge - Participants were asked to put their energy into volunteering or participating in a fundraising event for childhood cancer and breast cancer awareness. Some of the events/charities selected by our participants were Alex's Lemonade Stand and various local childhood cancer and breast cancer charities.
